Ld and Bobbie Herzog met in Tucson, Az where Ld was in school at the University of Arizona.  Bobbie was a substitute teacher & professional singer, working in the resort communities in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. Scientist meets artist, and the rest is history! After 29 years, 3 houses, two children and four dogs, they became empty nesters. They sold their home in the city and bought the ranch in southwest Austin. Ld loves land management & Bobbie loves music and cooking for friends and family. ACR Bed & Breakfast was born out of love for hospitality and their mutual desire to serve others.

Our slogan, “Ranch in the City,” explains it all. We feel removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet we can be in downtown Austin quickly. We are 7 miles from Zilker Park and the many festivals, restaurants, live music venues,  lake activities, concerts, symphonies & museums that Austin is known for.
